Zanolli is able to engrave through pantographs, designed to engrave silver and metal and some parts in resin. Engraving is a classic of silverware tradition from the past which was made by hand. Today, except for particularly decorative engravings, which are still performed manually, it is possible to engrave many objects more easily.
Sometimes you want to customize objects that can't be directly engraved. Standard engraving cannot be made directly on non-metallic materials such as glass, wood, plastic etc. On some objects the incidentable part is too small compared to the requested text or it is not smooth or the object by shape or size does not physically enter the pantograph. In that case you engrave a coat of arms, a plate or a pendant that are then fixed or glued to the object to be personalized.
In some cases the engraving requires the creation of a customized design that we call a logo. It has a variable production cost, so it will be necessary to ask our customer service for information by sending a request here: contact our service . Once realized, the logo can be engraved on any object, compatibly with the engravable space.
The engraving is made with pantographs with diamond tips suitable for working on metals and in almost all cases on resin. For this the engraving on glass or crystal can be made by laser but it is necessary to contact our customer service and ask in advance for feasibility and costs. Otherwise the engraving will be carried out as described above in the section Customization of objects that cannot be directly engraved.
We are not able to engrave on wood or plastic or we reserve the right to contact you if it is not technically possible to execute it or we believe that in all likelihood the final result will be unsatisfying.
